Freedom.

July 4, 2009

Eventhough a while ago we already gave shoutouts to our homegirl Heidi, we felt that especially today – USA’s independence day – is a perfect day to remind everyone that freedom is still not to be taken for granted. With her non-profit organization Built On Respect she went to Tibet to help provide direct help. Check out her website here and make sure to inform yourself through her YouTube-cannel. For even the slightest Graffiti admirer, the book “Subway Art” is a cornerstone of the culture. Photographers Martha Cooper and Henry Chalfant were largely responsible for introducing street art to the mainstream media, and they stand as soldiers for the cause to this day. With this in mind, we are happy to see their book “Subway Art” getting a proper 25th Anniversary re-release.
